A new weekend is upon us and there’s nothing we enjoy more than the sound of sticks hitting pucks to make our lives that little bit happier.
It’s rivalry night in the Kingdom as Glasgow Clan make their way from the west for this Elite League clash and we all know it’s not just points at stake, but bragging rights too.
Before we get into all that you need to know, we’re here to tell you what you can expect around Fife Ice Arena on Saturday night.
TICKETS
As ever, we’d love to have you here so if you’re on the fence about coming, don’t be. Tickets remain available now and can be bought either online or by visiting the Fife Ice Arena box office, open 90 minutes from face off.
Face off is at 7:00pm.

THE CLAN ARE COMING
There’s never a dull moment when these two meet and we expect nothing less as Corey Neilson’s Glasgow side are in town and looking for points.
They picked up two home wins against Cardiff Devils and Coventry Blaze last week, but went down 3-2 in overtime to Guildford Flames last night so won’t find life easy in the Auld Barn as Fife look to cause some problems of their own.
Derby games are always fascinating affairs and with three ex-Clan players expected to be in the Flyers line-up, they would love to get one over their old team and some pals.
Strap yourselves in for this one. It’s going to be fun!

DROPPING THE PUCK
We are delighted to welcome Martin Cooper and Kris Moir from BAM Construction, who will join us for our ceremonial puck drop prior the game.
Martin and Kris will also be around to present the Player of the Game awards too.
We hope you have a good night, guys!

THE STATE OF PLAY
A couple of games from last night means an updated table going into proceedings tonight. Can Flyers add to their single point so far? We certainly hope so.

TONIGHT’S JERSEYS
Tonight, Flyers will don their dark blue Elite League jerseys for this meeting against Glasgow Clan.

PRIZE CENTRAL
Shirt off the Back – You could leave Fife Ice Arena as a winner if you play Shirt off the Back where you could be the lucky recipient a game worn jersey from one of the players.
Tonight, our #18 Keaton Jameson’s home threads could be in your possession if you’re a lucky winner so make sure you keep your ticket handy and listen out for the announcement of the winning number during the third period.
Chuck a Puck – You know the drill. Purchase your pucks, wait until the second period break then chuck them at Geordie Munro, standing in centre ice. The closest puck to Geordie wins our amazing prize.
50/50 Draw – Who fancies leaving with more money than you arrived with? Of course you do and our 50/50 draw gives you the chance to do that. Buy a ticket and you’re in with a chance. The more you buy, the bigger the prize.
Tickets cost £1 a go for all games.

FIRST PERIOD BREAK ENTERTAINMENT
There won’t be any sleeping going on and we get ready for a Mattress Race during the first period break, where the competition, we suspect, will as fierce here as it will be on the ice during the game.

MERCHANDISE
With Christmas just a few weeks away, make sure you make the most of your trip to the Auld Barn with a trip to the merchandise stall and pick up a souvenir or two.
Jerseys, hoodies, keyrings – we’ve got plenty to choose from so come along and browse what we have and hopefully there will be something that takes your fancy.
We’ve also got our brand-new online shop up and running too so check out what we have there on the Fife Flyers Online Store.
Remember to use the code FIFE10 to receive a 10% discount on your first purchase.
Go on, treat yourself!
