The Fife Flyers are delighted to announce the re-signing of Kirkcaldy-born netminder Ben Keddie, who will return to the club on a two-way contract with the Edinburgh Capitals for the 2026/27 Motorpoint Elite League season.

Keddie’s return continues his progression through the Scottish hockey pathway. Having started his career with Fife’s junior setup, the netminder progressed through the age groups before making his debut with the Kirkcaldy Kestrels, and icing with the Flyers since the 2022/23 season.

Ben also spent three seasons with the Blackburn Hawks in NIHL1 before joining Edinburgh Capitals ahead of the 2025/26 season. 

The young netminder will once again work between the Flyers and Capitals throughout the 2026/27 season, giving him the opportunity to continue his development while remaining part of the Flyers’ goaltending group.

Speaking on the addition of Keddie, head coach Tim Wallace said “I have heard nothing but good things about Ben and I am excited to work with him. He has the right attitude, and a lot of potential. I’m excited to see where his game can go this season.”
