On Friday night……
Sheffield Steelers 9 Fife Flyers 4 – Elite League
The Flyers are now winless on the road against the Steelers in their last 17 games with the last win in Sheffield being on 9th March 2019.
If you ignore a Challenge game and a 3rd/4th placed playoff game then the Flyers have only ever been involved in one other penalty free game during their EIHL era – that also came against the Steelers in a playoff quarter final on 28th March 2015.
The Flyers have now gone 6 games without conceding a powerplay goal.
