The Fife Flyers are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward Mike Petizian ahead of the 2026/27 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

The 25-year-old winger arrives in Kirkcaldy after spending the past four seasons with the University of New Brunswick, where he established himself as a strong offensive player in USports. Across 120 regular season appearances for the Reds, Petizian recorded 48 goals and 47 assists for 95 points, and helped the programme capture multiple national championships.

Before beginning his collegiate career, the Mississauga, Ontario native enjoyed a productive spell in the Ontario Hockey League with the Kitchener Rangers. Across five seasons, he registered 63 goals and 72 assists for 135 points in 230 regular season games. Prior to this, Petizian iced for the Mississauga Reps where he helped the team to an OHL Cup and gained MVP status.

Speaking on the addition of Mike Petizian to the lineup, Head Coach Tim Wallace said “Mike has a solid all around game and brings a lot of qualities you need to win hockey games. He is hard to play against, skates well and has high end playmaking ability.”
