The Fife Flyers are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian defenceman Isack Bandu ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old arrives in Fife following four seasons in the NCAA, spending time with Northern Michigan University before joining St. Lawrence University for his final two years. Prior to his NCAA career, Bandu spent three seasons in the BCHL with the Victoria Grizzlies, serving as an alternate captain during his final season with the club.
During the 2020/21 campaign, Bandu established himself as one of the BCHL’s top offensive defencemen, leading all defencemen in both points and assists after recording 23 points in 20 games.
Standing at 6’2″, Bandu brings size, athleticism and strong skating ability to the Flyers’ defensive unit.
Head Coach Tim Wallace added “Isack is a very powerful player with great athleticism. He’s an elite skater who plays with an edge, competes hard, and brings a strong defensive game. His skating, strength, and physicality give us some real flexibility, and I could see him helping us up front as well if we need him to bring energy and pace. He has a lot of potential, and we’re excited to work with him and see where his game can go.”
Everyone at the Fife Flyers would like to welcome Isack to the club and wish him every success for the season ahead!
