The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club are delighted to announce the re-signing of defenceman Ethan Hadden ahead of the 2026/27 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

The Kirkcaldy-born 18 year old returns to the Flyers following his first full season at Elite League level, continuing his development with his hometown club after gaining valuable experience throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

A product of the Kirkcaldy junior system, Hadden also previously spent time developing overseas in North America before returning to the Kingdom in 2025. The young Scottish defenceman has also represented Great Britain at junior level on the international stage.

Still just 18 years old, Hadden’s return further strengthens the Flyers’ goal of developing British talent within the organisation.

Speaking on the signing, Head Coach Tim Wallace said “Ethan is a strong skater who brings pace, compete, and a physical edge to our lineup. He plays the game hard, he’s reliable, and he’s the type of player who fits the identity we want in Fife. We’re excited to have him with us and believe he can be a really important piece of our group moving forward.”
