The Kingdom Weekend Recap – Week 15

On Friday night……

Glasgow Clan 5        Fife Flyers 4               Overtime                         –   Elite League   

The Flyers are now winless at Braehead in their last 8 visits which is their longest such sequence since the Clan were rebranded as Glasow and equals their longest against Clan in all EIHL competitions.

It was the first time this season that the Flyers had multi powerplay goals in a game and they stretched their season best run with man advantage goals to 5 games.

The Flyers 3rd goal scored by Keaton Jameson was their 2400th in all EIHL competitions.

In all EIHL competitions the Flyers are now 36 and 39 in overtime outcomes whilst against the Clan they have won 7 of 13 games that have been decided in bonus hockey.

Clan 55 shots on goal was their highest game total of the season.

Deven Sideroff played 25:41 which is a season high TOI for a Clan forward so far this season.

The 86 shots on goal total across both teams was the highest aggregate in a Flyers match so far this season.

 

On Saturday night……

Fife Flyers 1         Glasgow Clan 2                      –   Elite League    

The Flyers are now winless in their last 4 home games against the Clan which is their longest drought since the 2016-17 season.

Overall the Clan are undefeated against the Flyers in their last 7 meetings in all EIHL competitions.

The Flyers 5 game sequence with a powerplay goal was ended.

Deven Sideroff became the 3rd Clan player since their rebranding to Glasgow and 4th all-time to reach double figures in goals against the Flyers with his 10th.

No Flyers player has reached double figures against the Glasgow version of Clan but there are 4 to do so against Braehead, Kyle Haines, Ryan Dingle, Carlo Finucci and Evan Bloodoff.

When the Flyers have lost the 2nd period this season they are winless in all 19 games.
