Fife Flyers are delighted to announce the signing of forward Xander Lamppa ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old American from Rochester, Minnesota arrives in Fife following three seasons with the ECHL’s Maine Mariners. In his most recent campaign, Lamppa recorded 16 goals and 13 assists for 29 points in 68 appearances. Prior to turning professional, the 6’1″ forward spent four seasons with Penn State University in the NCAA, serving as an alternate captain during the 2023/24 season and bringing additional leadership experience to the Flyers dressing room.
Speaking on the signing, Head Coach Tim Wallace said “Xander is a smart player who protects the puck well and competes hard in battles. He is strong on face-offs and has an offensive upside that I believe can continue to grow in Fife.”
“He should be a valuable piece for our group, but like any player, he will need to put the work in and earn that opportunity. I’m excited to see him embrace that challenge and make the most of it.”
We look forward to welcoming Xander to the Flyers family later this year!
