The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club would like to provide an update in relation to our 2025/26 pre-season schedule.
Following the cancellation of our games on Thursday (28 August 2025) and Saturday (30 August 2025) vs CSM Corona Brasov, we can confirm that next weekend’s games vs the Dundee Stars will now be our 2025/26 pre-season games.
Both fixtures, Saturday in Dundee and Sunday in Kirkcaldy, were originally scheduled to be Challenge Cup group games. However, following discussions with Dundee and the EIHL, it has been agreed to change these dates to pre-season.
The scheduled Challenge Cup games will now take place in Dundee on Tuesday 16 September 2025 (7:30pm face-off) and in Kirkcaldy on Wednesday 22 October 2025 (7:30pm face-off).
WHAT GAMES HAVE CHANGED?
The pre-season game on Thursday 28 August 2025 vs CSM Corona Brasov was cancelled due to Brasov being unable to travel to the UK.
The pre-season game on Saturday 30 August 2025 vs CSM Corona Brasov was cancelled due to Brasov being unable to travel to the UK.
Saturday 6 September 2025 at Dundee Stars has been changed from a Challenge Cup group game to a pre-season game.
Sunday 7 September 2025 vs Dundee Stars has been changed from a Challenge Cup group game to a pre-season game.
Tuesday 16 September 2025 will now be the replacement Challenge Cup group road game at Dundee.
Wednesday 22 October 2025 will now be the replacement Challenge Cup group home game vs Dundee Stars.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I BOOKED PRE-SEASON TICKETS FOR THURSDAY 28 AUGUST VS CSM CORONA BRASOV?
All tickets booked for the original Thursday 28 August pre-season game vs Brasov will transfer automatically to the new Sunday 7 September pre-season game, and all barcodes will remain active for the rearranged date.
Fans who bought tickets for Thursday 28 August and CAN attend the Sunday 7 September pre-season game and do not need to do anything else, however PLEASE NOTE the face-off time is now 5:00pm and not 7:30pm.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I BOOKED PRE-SEASON TICKETS FOR SATURDAY 30 AUGUST VS CSM CORONA BRASOV?
If you had booked tickets for the original Saturday 30 August pre-season game vs Brasov and didn’t have a ticket for the Thursday 28 August pre-season game and would like to attend the replacement pre-season game on Sunday 7 September, we can transfer your ticket over to the new fixture.
We may not be able to give the exact seats, as they may have already been booked by the original Thursday (28 August) night customers, but we will allocate like for like as close as possible. Please contact tickets@fifeflyers.co.uk or visit the Box Office at Fife Ice Arena to arrange this.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I BOOKED CHALLENGE CUP TICKETS FOR SUNDAY 7 SEPTEMBER VS DUNDEE STARS?
For tickets booked for the original Sunday 7 September, Challenge Cup game vs the Dundee Stars. These tickets will also transfer automatically to the rearranged game on Wednesday 22 October. PLEASE NOTE that tickets for the original Sunday 7 September Challenge Cup game are NOT Valid for the NEW Pre-season game as this is a completely separate event.
Fans who bought tickets for the Sunday 7 September Challenge Cup game will be able to attend the Wednesday 22 October game without doing anything to their booking. If you cannot attend this game, please contact us via tickets@fifeflyers.co.uk or the Box Office and we can move your tickets to a regular Challenge Cup or League Game.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T ATTEND THE NEW PRE-SEASON GAME ON SUNDAY 7 SEPTEMBER VS DUNDEE STARS?
If you cannot attend the Sunday 7 September rearranged pre-season game or you already have tickets for this as you purchased the original Thursday 28 September tickets, we can offer you a Gift Voucher to the value of the Ticket you purchased either £12, £10, £6 or £5 and this can be used against any other Fife Flyers Home Game this season, as partial payment towards a regular game night ticket.
For example £12 Voucher could be used for £12 Child Ticket or partial Payment of a concession or adult, with the remaining balance being paid at the time of booking. PLEASE NOTE, these vouchers can ONLY be redeemed at the Box Office they cannot be redeemed online.
If you cannot attend another Fife Flyers Home Game during the 2025/26 season, we can offer a refund. Please note that refunds can be offered for the value of the ticket only (£12, £10, £6, £5) Handling Fees are non-refundable. I AM A 2025/26 SEASON TICKET HOLDER AND HAVE BOUGHT TICKETS FOR BOTH GAMES?
If you’re a 2025/26 Season Ticket Holder and booked tickets for Thursday 28 August vs Brasov, this has now been transferred to Sunday 7 August pre-season game vs Dundee. If you had booked tickets for Saturday 30 August vs Brasov, we can offer you a merchandise voucher or ticket voucher in place of the game tickets. Please email tickets@fifeflyers.co.uk and we will be able to assist.
WHAT IF I JUST WANT A REFUND?
If you want a refund, they can only be offered via the original payment method, so if booked online or paid via a BACs transfer please email tickets@fifeflyers.co.uk. If you booked your tickets at the Fife Ice Arena Box Office, please return to the Box Office to request a cash or card refund, depending on your payment method. PLEASE NOTE, handling fees are non refundable.
