The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club are delighted to announce the signing of Scottish goaltender Jordan McLaughlin ahead of the 2026/27 Elite Ice Hockey League season.
The 26-year-old netminder joins the Flyers following recent experience in the NIHL with the Hull Seahawks.
Born in Falkirk, McLaughlin developed through the Murrayfield/Edinburgh junior system before progressing into senior hockey, where he gained valuable experience across both the EIHL and NIHL.
Following spells within the Glasgow Clan and Sheffield Steelers organisations, McLaughlin continued his development through regular action in the NIHL, establishing himself as a reliable presence between the pipes.
Most recently with Hull Seahawks, the Scottish goaltender arrives in Fife having recorded over 100 appearances in the NIHL, bringing further experience and competition to the Flyers’ roster ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Speaking on the signing, Head Coach Tim Wallace said “Jordan is a player I’ve competed against many times over the years, so I’ve seen first-hand what he can bring. He has good size, covers a lot of net, and gives himself a chance to make saves through his presence and positioning.”
“This is a great opportunity for Jordan to test himself at a higher level and see how far he can take his game.”
