KELLY RETURNS HOME FOR THE 2026/27 SEASON

Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club are delighted to announce the signing of defensemen, Reece Kelly.

A Fife local, Kelly returns home after two seasons with the Sheffield Steelers. No stranger to the Auld Barn, Kelly also iced for the Glasgow Clan, and a brief spell with the Cardiff Devils.

During his last season with the Sheffield Steelers, Kelly recorded 2 goals and 5 assists across 53 games.

Previous to joining the EIHL, Kelly gained overseas experience through playing his junior years at the Ontario Hockey Academy before heading to Europe, joining the Stavanger Oilers (U21) in Norway, and then IPK U20 in Finland.

Speaking on the signing, Head Coach Tim Wallace said “Reece is a big, strong player with a great shot and a lot of upside. He’s still growing his game, but the tools are there for him to become one of the top British defensemen in the league. He has skill, poise, and can make plays under pressure, and we’re excited to have him in Fife and help him take that next step.”

Welcome to the Flyers Reece!
