On Saturday night, the kids are taking over!
Flyers will be hosting our first-ever Kids Takeover Night at our home game against the Sheffield Steelers (Face-off 7:00pm).
On the night, some of our young fans will step up to help our match night crew by taking on a variety of exciting roles.
We’re looking for younger members of the Fife Flyers faithful to fill the following positions:
Pre-game Junior Coach:
Help get the team fired up ahead of puck drop! Our junior coach will help announce the starting line-up in the dressing room.
Mini Geordie Munro:
The old man needs a rest after all these years! Our Mini Geordie will follow Geordie’s lead and help get the fans LOUD!
Assistant Announcer / DJ:
Want to hear your voice over the loudspeaker? Our assistant announcer will help Stuart in the DJ booth and announce a couple of calls throughout the evening.
Junior Photographer:
We want to see game night from your perspective! Our junior photographer will be provided a disposable camera at the start of the night to document their match night experience.
Post-game Interviewer:
Ever wanted to ask the questions? Now’s your chance! Our post-game interviewer will have the chance to ask a few questions after Saturday’s game.
Livestream interview guest:
Join Laura and Bean up in the press box to feature on the match night webcast, answering questions in the period breaks live on air!
Puck Drop Presenter:
It’s Kids Takeover Night, so it’s only right that one of our young fans kicks off the evening by dropping the puck.
Man of the Match Presenter:
Our presenter will do the honours of awarding the Man of the Match to the standout player from each team on the ice post-game.

Provide a helping hand to our friends in the Flyers Shop pre-game.
Face Painting assistant
Ready to show off your artistic skills? Help out our match night face painter on game night!
Shirt Off the back + Chuck-a-Puck seller Assistants
Assisting our amazing Shirt Off the Back and Chuck-a-Puck sellers with their match night duties.
For the roles above, we’re looking for young fans aged 6-12 who are keen to experience the inner workings of a match night.
