Roster Update

Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club are pleased to announce the addition of Defenseman Kevin Wehrs. Wehrs, a 35 year old dual national of America and Hungary brings with him a wealth of experience across some of Europe’s top leagues as well as representing Hungary at the highest international level. The 5’10”, left shooter iced last season with DVTK Jegesmedvék tallying 2 goals and 18 assists in 30 games.

Following on from our previous roster update Fife Flyers Ice Hockey club can confirm the following:

A decision has been made to place Stephen Desrocher on Injured Reserve list (IR), following a break to his hand last month.

A decision was made to not officially place Shane Owen onto the IR as he is responding well to treatment. Owen will continue with his treatment and return to the ice and line up as soon as he is cleared to do so by our medical team.

Kevin Lindskoug will fit into the roster due to Desrocher being added to the IR List. Lindskoug has been cleared to play and will be available for selection this weekend.

The signing of Kevin Wehrs is a direct replacement for Reece Harsh who departed the Club last month. Wehrs has arrived in Kirkcaldy and is available for selection by Coach Coolen at this weekend’s games.
