Fife Flyers strengthen offense with the signing of Teemu Pulkkinen

Teemu Pulkkinen, a native of Kirkkonummi, Finland, is the sixth forward to sign with the Club.

The 5’9″ forward most recently played for GKS Katowice of the Polska Liga Hokejowa, after previously playing for Herning Blue Fox in Denmark’s Superisligaen (Metal Ligaen) and Jukurit in Finland’s Liiga.

On joining the Flyers, Teemu Pulkkinen stated, “I am very excited to be signing with the Fife Flyers. I can’t wait to get the season started and to play in front of the fans. I have heard only good things about the organisation and the league.

“I am a versatile and reliable player in both offense and defense. I can play in the middle and on the wing. I expect a lot from myself this season so I can’t wait for the games to start.”

Tom Coolen, Head Coach added, “Teemu Pulkkinen is a player that can play many roles. He has speed, grit and Finnish SMLiga experience. I see Teemu as a hard working forward capable of playing on any line. He has quality experience and shown that he can score at top levels of hockey.”
