Forward, Max Humitz joins Fife Flyers for the 2023/24 season

A Lake Superior State University graduate, Humitz played four seasons for the Lakers, scoring 111 points in 149 games.

His professional career has included stints with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League, the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL, and the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL.

Upon joining Fife Flyers, Humitz commented, “I’m very excited to be part of the Fife organisation. I’ve heard great things about the town and arena. I can’t wait to get there to start the season and play in front of the passionate fans. Go Flyers!”

Head Coach Tom Coolen commented “Max Humitz is coming off a 25 goal season in the ECHL. Max was named to the All American Senior Team and has shown that he can score at the ECHL and AHL levels. We look forward to bringing those scoring and leadership skills to the Fife Flyers”.
