FLYERS BOLSTER FORWARD LINE WITH ADDITION OF COLLIN SHIRLEY

The Fife Flyers have added to their offensive line with the signing of Canadian winger Collin Shirley. 27-year old Collin Shirley will play his first season in the EIHL this year, following a year with Hungarian team, UTE of the Erste Liga.

The Canadian forward also played 5 seasons in the Western Hockey League, and 3 seasons with the University of Saskatchewan before making the transition to European hockey.

On making the move to hockey in the UK, Collin stated, “I’m thrilled to be joining the Fife Flyers this season. I have heard great things about Kirkcaldy and the organisation and can’t wait to meet the staff and teamates in preparation for the 23/24 hockey year. To the fans of Fife, I look forward to seeing you in the stands throughout the season!”

On the addition of the 6’2” Shirley, Flyers’ Coach, Tom Coolen commented, ”Collin is a big, smooth skating forward. He is a former top scoring player with the University of Saskatchewan and will give us size and a scoring touch. With his speed, he can play any position.”
