The Fife Flyers have added to their offensive line with the signing of American skater Kyle Osterberg.

Minnesota-born winger, Kyle Osterberg will join the Fife Flyers in 2023 following six seasons playing throughout Europe. Most recently, Kyle played for German side Eisbaren Regensburg of the DEL2. Throughout his university career, Osterberg played for the NCAA Division 1 school, University of Minnesota-Duluth where he was a National Collegiate Hockey Conference Champion in 2016-17.

On playing with the Fife Flyers, Osterberg commented, “I’m really excited to get this season started. I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates, coaching staff and the rest of the organisation. But most importantly meeting and playing in front of the fans. The expectations for this season are exciting and I’m hoping to have Fife on top of the standings.”

When reporting on Osterberg, Flyers Head Coach Tom Coolen stated, “Kyle is an excellent player with a high compete level. He is a former NCAA National Champion who will be one of our leaders.”
