The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club and Kirkcaldy-based sports therapy group, The Recovery Lab are happy to announce they have entered into a new partnership.

As the official sports therapy and rehabilitation partner of the Fife Flyers, The Recovery Lab will offer the team quality care following injuries, and customised treatment to maintain the high level of fitness required for the entire hockey season.

Caitlyn McAleese, Owner and Sports Therapist with The Recovery Lab commented, “We are delighted and honoured to be asked to work with the Fife Flyers. This partnership will ensure the players are supported through their injuries and also help maintain their peak physical health during their intense season. We are looking forward to getting stuck in, and doing our best for each individual player.”

Fife Flyers’ General Manager and Head Coach, Todd Dutiaume added, ”This is a positive move for the club, securing this partnership with The Recovery Lab. It not only allows us to become more proactive in injury prevention and management, but it also provides us with a larger range of coverage both home and away. We will be working closely with our new partner to keep our players stronger, healthier and ultimately at the top of their game.”

This working partnership has taken immediate effect and the Flyers will receive treatment and support from The Recovery Lab through the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
