Kevin Regan in action last season

Fife Flyers are delighted to confirm that netminder Kevin Regan will be back for a second season with the Kirkcaldy based club.

Regan joined the Flyers for the 2013/14 season and has re-signed for the forthcoming 2014/15 season.

The 29 year old, 6’1 netminder from South Boston, MA played in 54 games for the Flyers last season, finishing with a .900 SVS%. A 2003 Boston Bruins draft, Regan has also played in the AHL, CHL, ECHL and in Italy.

Flyers Associate Coach Danny Stewart had the following to say on Regan re-signing for the club “We are thrilled to have Kevin back for the upcoming season.”

“He was solid for us all season long, particularly down the stretch, when he showed how much of a quality goaltender he really is. He has the capability to win games for us, and that is key in this league, as the league gets more competitive each season.”

“This is a huge first step in building our roster for next season and we will look to add to Kevin and Blair throughout the coming weeks”.

Flyers Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added “We made it one of our main priorities to secure the services of Kevin for another year. He was instrumental in the success we had in the second half of last season.”

“Arguably one of the best goaltenders we've ever had in Fife, I look forward to working with Reegs again and putting a team in front of him that is capable of winning every night.”

Kevin added “I am excited to be heading back to Kirkcaldy next season and playing for the Flyers. Myself and my family really enjoyed our time in Fife last year, and we are all looking forward to heading back for the 2014/15 season.”

“We had a great run on the ice towards the end of the season and I was proud to be a part of that. I am looking forward to being back on the ice with the Flyers and building on where we left off last season.”
