Glasgow Clan

This Saturday sees the Fife Flyers, sponsored by Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz, get their 2019/20 Challenge Cup campaign underway as they host Zack Fitzgerald's Glasgow Clan at Fife Ice Arena.

Todd Dutiaume's side face their first competitive game following a successful pre-season campaign which saw Flyers in action against Danish and German opposition at Fife Ice Arena.

Flyers recorded 2 wins, 1 overtime loss and a regulation loss over 2 weekends as the side were put through their paces, however they done so without Paul and Tim Crowder, Danick Gauthier and Dylan Quaile who were not available for selection as they were still competing in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

Zack Fitzgerald's side travel to Fife Ice Arena looking to make amends for 2 heavy Challenge Cup opening weekend defeats to the Dundee Stars. The Clan went down 6-3 (at home) and 7-2 (away) to the Stars.

Glasgow will undoubtly be a tough opening challenge for the Flyers as the sides will look to renew their rivalry under new Clan head coach Zack Fitzgerald.

Grab your McDonald's chuck-a-puck from sellers on game night to be in with a chance of winning £250, or McDonald's vouchers on both Saturday and Sunday.

Pucks are available for just £1 and the competition takes place between periods 2 and 3!
