The Bay Hotel

Fife Flyers can confirm that we will be holding our 2018/19 End of Season Awards Night on the evening of Wednesday 3rd April 2019 at The Bay Hotel, Pettycur Bay, Kinghorn.


Tickets will be on sale at the game on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th March 2019, from the Flyers travel club booth during the 1st and 2nd period breaks. Tickets are priced £25 for adults & £15 for kids (age 15 and under), and under 5’s go free. The ticket price includes access to the Awards Ceremony which will see 8 awards being presented on the night, the official jersey presentations to the Home & Away Jersey Sponsors, Stick Presentations to the Stick Sponsors and a hot buffet following the main awards.

We will also hand over the Warm Up Jerseys to the corresponding Sponsors, prior to the Stick Sponsor Presentations.

Season Ticket Holders, Corporate Pass Holders and Fife Flyers Official Travel Club Members will receive a 10% discount on their ticket. Please ensure you show your Season Ticket/Corporate Pass or Travel Club Membership when purchasing your ticket (discount is applicable to the bearer's ticket only, not on multiple tickets).

We would advise buying your tickets early as we do expect this event to sell out.

Tables seat 12, and we will be allocating names to tables prior to the event to ease congestion at the start of the event. Table lists will be displayed at the event. Doors open at 7.00pm, the event will start at 7.45pm prompt. You can request that you are sat with friends at the time of purchasing your tickets.

There will also be a raffle on the night with some great prizes up for grabs including signed jerseys, goodie bags and lots more!  A photo booth will be set up post event so that you can get your picture taken on the night with your favourite players. Photos will cost £1 on the night.

The dress code for the event is smart.

The format for the evening will see 8 Awards being presented to the players, and we want you the fans to get involved in the voting! 

Home and Away Jersey Sponsors will also be presented with their game worn players jerseys after the official awards have been presented. Please note, if you are a consortium who have sponsored a players jersey (e.g. Section G, Fife Flyers Travel Club etc) please ensure you pick a winner or nominate 1 person, to accept the jersey on behalf of the consortium.

The Awards this season are as follows:

- Top Points Scorer (Determined by player stats at end of regular season)

- Players Player (Voted for by the players)

- Forward of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Defenceman of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Goal of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Brit of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Player of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Unsung Hero (Voted for by the fans)

You are able to vote for your winners on the website from Wednesday 20th March 2019. Alternatively you can vote by collecting a voting slip from the Programme sellers booth at the games on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March 2019. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your nominee (Please state the Category name e.g Player of the Year and the nominee). Please note voting closes at 10pm on Sunday 24th March 2019.

At the Awards Night, we will reveal the top three nominees for each category, before announcing your winners!

Elite Ice Hockey League

The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) is a professional ice hockey league in the United Kingdom formed in 2003. The league currently consists of 10 teams, with Belfast (NIR), Cardiff (WAL), Coventry (ENG), Dundee (SCO), Fife (SCO), Glasgow (SCO), Guildford (ENG), Manchester (ENG), Nottingham (ENG) and Sheffield (ENG).
