Schaber, Bloodoff and Finucci return to the line-upSchaber, Bloodoff and Finucci return to the line-up

This Wednesday, Fife Flyers sponsored by Arnold Clark Mercedes Benz, take on the Milton Keynes Lightning and go into the fixture with a huge boost to the team line-up.

Pivotal forwards Chase Schaber and Evan Bloodoff will both return to the starting side having been out due to injury. Schaber last iced back in October when he sustained an injury against the Nottingham Panthers whilst Bloodoff last iced at the start of December against Wednesday's opponents the MK Lightning.

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume is delighted to get both players back in the team for the second half of the season.

"Getting these guys back in to the team is a huge boost for us. Chase and Evan are a massive part of our line-up, big characters on the ice and in the dressing room, so it is great to be able to get them back on the ice.

"Chase is one of the leaders on this team and he has been frustrated not being able to get on the ice with his teammates, but now his return will not just be a big boost for his teammates, but also for our fans ahead of Wednesday's game against the Lightning.

"Everyone knows how dangerous ‘Bloodz’ can be on the ice, so again is a huge boost to get him back in the line-up moving into this part of the season.

Flyers will also welcome back forward Carlo Finucci who has completed a 2 game ban handed out by the league’s Department of Player Safety for a slash during the Boxing Day game against Gardiner Conference rivals the Dundee Stars.
