Fife Flyers Annual Christmas Toy Appeal Huge Success

Once again, our Annual Christmas Toy Appeal has been a huge success, and we can’t thank our fans, sponsors and game night volunteers enough, for their kind donations and generosity.

We received lots of donations both prior to and on the night of the game on Sat 15th Dec Vs Guildford Flames. Special thanks to Mind & Body Studio Kirkcaldy, who acted as an official drop off point in the weeks running up to the official handover.

It was great to see so many fans stick around post-game and hand over their donations to the players, who packed them in to our sponsor vehicles. Thanks to Babcock International Group and Barnetts St Andrews, who both kindly donated vehicles on the night, to help us transport the donations off the ice.

The donations were officially handed over to the Family and Community Support Team (FACST) on Tues 18th Dec, with help from our friends at Babcock International Group and Mind & Body Studio Kirkcaldy. The haul will be wrapped and delivered prior to Xmas Day, and donated to vulnerable and disadvantaged families throughout Fife.

Sean Donaldson, Managing Director of Babcock’s Rosyth site, said: “We’re really pleased to support Fife Flyers’ Annual Christmas Toy Appeal again this year, and I’d like to thank all of our generous employees who contributed. From art sets to cuddly toys, they provided a range of gifts to ensure that Christmas is a special and memorable time for everyone.”

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the collections, those who donated and those who helped pack and transfer the donations. Your help is greatly appreciated and your kindness will help families throughout the Kingdom of Fife this Christmas.
