Fife Flyers 80th logo

This year, Fife Flyers will celebrate their 80th anniversary, making them the UK’s oldest ice hockey club!

Back in 1938, Fife Ice Arena opened its doors and the Fife Flyers played their first home game on 1st October that same year.

To mark the occasion, we will be celebrating our 80th anniversary at our home game on Sunday 30th September Vs Manchester Storm, on the eve of our 80th birthday.

To get the party started we have a few treats in store for the fans……So make sure you grab your tickets and head to the game to help us celebrate being the oldest UK club on ice!

We’ll be giving away cake to the first 80 fans through the doors on Sunday and we’ll have balloons, party games and prizes galore!

Not only that, but the players will be wearing special 80th anniversary jerseys, which we’ll be auctioning off at a home game later in October (date tbc). However, we’ll be raffling off one of the 80th anniversary blood jerseys at the game on Sunday, so make sure you head to the game to see the guys battle it out against one of our biggest rivals, the Manchester Storm, and check out the jerseys and our special 80th anniversary limited edition merchandise, available from the shop.

Help us celebrate our 80th birthday and make it a night to remember at Fife Ice Arena!
