Flyers have now been tied five times after the second period at home this season and have lost on each occasion.
Last home shutout was Belfast Giants in the Challenge Cup on 30th September – the Flyers lead all teams this season being shut out 8 times
It is the 5th shutout the Panthers have recorded against the Flyers in all EIHL competitions.
The Flyers have been shutout 61 times now in all EIHL competitions and have shut out teams on 30 occasions.
Johan Eriksson with his team best 5 shots on goal in the game became the 7th Flyers player to register 100 plus shots on the season.
Troy Lajeunesse ends the season as the Flyers top scorer against the Panthers with 5 gaols whilst Otto Nieminen was Panthers top marksman with 4 goals including one in each of the last three games.
The Panthers 24 shots on goal is the fewest shots against allowed by the Flyers in a game this season.
When the Flyers have lost the 3rd period in games this season they have won only once in 23 games – they have lost 10 from 10 games at home in that scenario.
Troy Lajeunesse had his points streak stopped at 8 games and he will end the season with a team best points streak of 12 games.

Fife Flyers 5 Guilford Flames 2 – Elite League
It was the second time the Flyers have won all three periods in a match this season, they last did it on 21st October when they also beat the Guildford Flames at home 3-0.
The Flyers 1 shot on goal in the third period was a season low for the team in a period this season.
March has been a productive month of hockey for the Flyers and their record of P 8 W 6 L 1 OT/SOL 1 has created the following records:
75% is the Flyers best winning % in the month of March during their time in the EIHL.
An 81% points percentage is the Flyers highest in the month of March during their time in the EIHL.
81% is also the Flyers best points return in a month since December 2017 which was 85% and is the third best ever points return for any month in the Flyers EIHL era with 85.7% being tops.
A plus 9 goals differential is only the second positive differential in the month of March during the Flyers time in the EIHL.
It is also the first month of Flyers hockey with a positive goals differential since September 2019.
