The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club would like to confirm the appointment of Ian ‘Horse’ Kelly as one of the club’s new Equipment Managers, joining the off ice support team with immediate effect.

Horse will work alongside Head Equipment Manager, Charles Humphreys, strengthening the support system behind the players for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

The 53-year-old returns to his hometown team after spending the previous six season’s with EIHL rivals the Glasgow Clan.

A well-known and respected figure in UK hockey, Horse has previously worked for the Flyers during the 2017/18 & 2018/19 season’s.

We would like to thank Assistant Equipment Manager, Jamie Laing, who has taken the decision to depart the club. We would like to thank Jamie for all of his hard work and commitment during his time with the team.
