The Kingdom Mid-Week Recap – Week 6

On Wednesday night……

Fife Flyers 0         Nottingham Panthers 4                  –  Elite League    

The Panthers made it 8 wins on the bounce against the Flyers which includes victories in their last five visits to Kirkcaldy.

The Flyers were shutout on home ice for the 22nd time in all EIHL competitions.

It was the Panthers 2nd ever shutout on Flyers ice in all EIHL competitions and their 7th overall in the Elite League era against Fife.

The Flyers were last shutout in consecutive games in December 2024 against the Guildford Flames and Panthers and it is the 6th time all-time that they have been blanked in back to back games with 5 of those being in the EIHL era.

The Flyers ended a season high 4 game streak where they have given up a powerplay goal.

Joe Lynch made his first appearance of the season and became the 27th player to dress for the Flyers this term.

Panthers improved their road record on the season to 6 wins and 1 loss whilst outscoring their opponents 27-9.

Josh Winquist leads the teams with an average of 3.25 shots per game.

Justin Ducharme with only 2 games played has a shots to goals ratio of 50 percent whilst Johan Porsberger at 24 percent leads all players who have played double digit games.
