The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club can confirm that Aiden Wilson has been released with immediate effect.

The 20-year-old Scottish forward joined the Flyers from the NIHL’s Romford Raiders during 2024/25 and went on to play 18 games for the club.

The decision was reached after it became increasingly apparent that is was going to be too challenging for the club and the player to accommodate his travel and work commitments.

Everyone at the Flyers extends our thanks to Aiden for his time with the club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

We can also confirm that Keegan Cairns has been added to the line-up ahead of Sunday’s game with the Manchester Storm.

Keegan, 23-years-old, is a product of the Kirkcaldy Junior Development Programme and joins on a two-way deal from the SNL.
