Belfast extended their winning streak against the Flyers to four games.
Massimo Carozza scored the Flyers second shorthanded goal of the season, the other being scored by Kieran Craig with both goals coming at home.
It was the Flyers 69th shorthanded goal scored and 8th against the Belfast Giants in all EIHL competitions.
Including shoot out goals the third Flyers goal gave them their 200th against Belfast in all EIHL competitions.
Massimo Carozza extended his scoring streak against the Giants to 4 consecutive games.
2 shots in the first period equals lowest shots total for Flyers in any 20 minutes this season.

Nottingham Panthers 9 Fife Flyers 3 – Elite League
The Flyers completed their EIHL play against the Panthers without a win this season, the last time this was the case was the Flyers first two seasons in the EIHL.
Panthers have now won their last 7 games straight against Fife.
The Flyers have now been outshot by opponents in their last 20 games.
Jordan Stallard and Charles-Antoine Paiement have the active team leading points streak with points in their last three games.
Jordan Stallard became the 7th different Flyers player to record a multi goal game this season.
