EIHL LEAGUE STANDINGS

The 2020/21 league has been cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic.

SATURDAY NIGHTS ARE BACK - FIFE FLYERS WILL COMPETE IN SEASON 2021/22

Fife Flyers are delighted to announce that the team will be competing in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) season in 2021/22.

The team will play at the Fife Ice Arena for another season of enthralling hockey in Kirkcaldy after 16 months out of action due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, the club is working on revamping its media output, securing sponsorships and most importantly signing players for the season.

Commenting on the news Fife Flyers director Tom Muir said:

“After what has felt like an eternity I am beyond excited to finally have hockey back in Kirkcaldy and put a team on the ice for another season in the EIHL.

“We have missed our fans so much and Saturday nights do not feel the same without Auld Barn being packed every night and the roof being lifted off – the first night that happens will be something special.

“It has been an incredibly tough year and half for everyone, but as we are turning the corner and all things going well with the Scottish Government’s roadmap back to normality we should be able to fill Fife Ice Arena come the first game of the season.

“Behind the scenes we have been working hard to bring Flyers fans what they have been wanting, so we have been revamping our media output, working on bringing in sponsorships and, the news everyone wants to hear about, signing players to come to Kirkcaldy and get results on the ice.

“I would like to thank our amazing fans who have stuck by us throughout this difficult period, your endless support has been a great motivation throughout this period.

“Keep your eyes peeled soon for news on season tickets, kit, sponsors and a whole lot more as we build back towards another historic season in Fife.”
