The Flyers 3rd goal was their 100th goal at home against the Blaze in all EIHL competitions
The Flyers stopped their goal drought at 173:58 which is an all-time new record for the longest time without a goal for a Flyers team beating the 167:00 set in the 2024/25 season.
The Flyers conceded their 4th Empty Net goal of the season to match the number they have scored with all being on home ice.
It was the 8th ENG for the Blaze against the Flyers and the 107th given up all time across all EIHL competitions by the Flyers.
The Flyers record against the Blaze this season ended 1-5-0 and they were outscored 30-15 across the 6 games.
Congratulations to Jonas Emmerdahl who moved into 8th place for appearances in the EIHL for the Flyers with 304 games played.
Alessio Luciani scored his 9th goal against the Flyers to tie with Ben Lake as the top scorer for Blaze in all EIHL competitions against Fife.
