On Saturday night……

Coventry Blaze 7                     Fife Flyers 3                                        –   Elite League   

The Flyers have now lost on their last 7 visits to the Skydome which ties their longest winless streak on Blaze ice in all EIHL competitions.

Congratulations to Ben Brown on his first ever goal for the Flyers and his first in professional hockey.

The Flyers conceded their 4th shorthanded goal of the season and their 116th in all EIHL competitions.

It was the 7th shorty scored by the Blaze against the Flyers in the EIHL era.

The Flyers were awarded their first ever penalty shot against the Coventry Blaze in all EIHL competitions.

The Flyers are now 9 for 22 (40.91 percent) on penalty shots awarded in all EIHL competitions.

The Flyers have scored 1 of 4 penalty shots this season and have conceded 3 of 4.

On Sunday night……

Fife Flyers 0      Manchester Storm 4                        –   Elite League    

The Storm made it 3 consecutive wins at Fife Ice Arena which equals their best ever sequence in all EIHL competitions on Flyers ice.

The Flyers record against the Storm this season ended 1-4-1 and they were outscored 29-14 across the 6 games.

It was the fastest goal conceded by the Flyers this season at 01:46 beating the previous conceded at  01:53 against the Giants back in September.

Manchester made it a third straight win which ties their best sequence of the season so far.

The Flyers were shutout for the 10th time this season.

It was the 2nd time on home ice that they have been blanked by the Storm and 25th overall at home in all EIHL competitions.

The Flyers recorded their most shots on goal in their last 16 games being shutout since the 44 shots v Stars in October 2024.

The best points streak for the season will now belong to Keaton Jameson and Anton Karlsson who both had 6 game streaks

The Flyers have conceded a powerplay goal in five games which ties a season high.

Andrew McLean became the 6th Flyers player to register 100 shots or more in all competitions.

Flyers are 9 for 13 on 5 on 3 penalty kills this season.
