Glasgow Clan 4 Fife Flyers 1 – Elite League
The Clan stretched their winning run against the Flyers on home ice to 9 games which is their best sequence in all EIHL competitions against Fife.
The Flyers went winless in their last 8 matches against the Clan which equals the best run Glasgow/Braehead have had in the fixture.
Jonas Emmerdahl scored his 70th point for the Flyers in all EIHL competitions which moved him into 18th position for Flyers points scorers in the EIHL Era. He is 3rd all-time in defencemen scoring behind Russ Moyer and Kyle Haines.
Ethan Somoza missed his first game of the season leaving only 5 players who are ever present in this campaign.

Fife Flyers 6 Glasgow Clan 5 – Elite League
The Flyers snapped their home losing run against the Clan at 4 games which remains the best sequence for the Clan in the fixture.
The win also prevented Clan from making it a best ever 9 straight wins against the Flyers.
It was the Flyers first regulation win against the Clan in 18 games which stretches back to September 2024.
Congratulations to Simon Despres for his first goal for the Flyers to become the 181st player to score in the Elite League era for the club.
Congratulations also to Rowan Mills who picked up his first assist in professional hockey.
Josh Winquist fired the club’s second hattrick of the season which was the Flyers 21st on home ice and 39th in total across all EIHL competitions.
Winny became the 8th player to record a trick against the Clan.
Josh Winquist’s game winning Penalty Shot was the Flyers second award of the season and the first successful conversion in their last 5 attempts.
The Flyers conversion rate in all EIHL competitions on penalty shots is 40 percent with 8 from 20 whilst the opposition are 64.7 percent converting 11 of 17.
The Flyers are now 2 and 3 on Penalty Shots against the Clan with the only other game winning counter being Teemu Pulkkinen’s against Clan in September 2023.
The Flyers snapped the Clan’s perfect 8 for 8 winning record when leading after two periods on the road this season.
The Clan also remain winless when losing the 3rd period on the road this term and are now 0 and 8.
