Statement regarding resignation of Gareth Chalmers

The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club can confirm that Gareth Chalmers has stepped down from his role as Chief Operating Officer.
We are incredibly grateful to Gareth for the time, energy, and commitment he has shown in helping relaunch and rebuild the club during a vital period.
His experience and dedication played a key role in laying the foundations for getting us back onto the ice following our late takeover of the club during the summer.
Gareth has admirably agreed to provide operational support until early in January, to ensure the transition period is as smooth as possible for the organisation, while we work to secure his successor.
We are also aware of recent speculation regarding potential player signings. We remain mindful of the broader responsibilities that come with every decision we make, and continue to act in the best interests of the club and its future.
We wish Gareth nothing but the very best for the future, and he will always be part of the Flyers family.
