Last week saw Simon Després arrive and go straight into games. He stepped in and added a veteran, calming influence last weekend. He manages the puck and the game so well.

It’s been a tough week in practice. We are down a lot of players with all the guys that are banged up. We are hoping to have another body in soon.

We have desperately needed an infusion of talent, scoring and depth. We feel we have addressed those areas while also gaining experience and leadership with our new additions.

We are also optimistic that Jonas Emmerdahl will return to the lineup this weekend.

This Saturday we face Glasgow Clan at home. It’s always exciting to be a part of a rivalry, particularly one this fierce. These type of games also take on special meaning for the players in our shirts that will face off against their old club on the other side of it. Our fans are always loud and they have been terrific edging us on as we right the ship.
