The Fife Flyers can confirm that Scottish defenceman Brodie Kay has departed the club with immediate effect.

The 19-year-old recently approached the club advising us that he had accepted an offer to go and play in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).

While the club is disappointed with the decision and the timing, we wish Brodie all the best in North America and with his future endeavours.

The club is in the process of finalising new signings and as soon as the paperwork has been processed we’ll be in a position to make further announcements.
