Ducharme Added on Attack

The Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward Justin Ducharme for the 2025/26 season. 

A Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and Memorial Cup Champion with Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Justin spent his first pro year split between the Laval Rockets of the American Hockey League (AHL) and Trois-Rivières Lions of the ECHL. 

Justin iced in 22 AHL games suiting up with the Laval Rockets and the Texas Stars  recording a total of 8 points (5 goals + 3 assists). With the exception of 23 games in Slovakia and Czechia during the 2024/25 season, Justin has played the rest of his hockey in the ECHL.

In the ECHL, Justin recorded 153 points (59 goals 44 assists) in 246 games across all competitions. During which time he spent 1 season with the Idaho Steelhead and the other 3 with the Trois-Rivières Lions. Playing 2 of those 3 seasons with former Flyer, Charles-Antoine Paiement. 

It was in the ECHL that Justin again tasted Championship success. First with the Idaho Steelheads as the team were crowned Regular Season Champions picking up the ECHL Brabham Cup during the 2022/23 season. Then last season he helped the  Trois-Rivières Lions lift the Kelly Cup registering 5 goals and 5 assists during the playoff run. 

On securing Justin Flyers President and GM Max Birbraer said: “As another solid piece of the puzzle snaps down the picture is starting to take shape.
“Justin is a well rounded, hard working player with an offensive upside who prides himself on winning.
“That is exactly the type of culture we are trying to inject into this line up.
“I look forward to working with this player.”

Head Coach Jamie Russell added: “Justin is coming off a championship season in the ECHL.
“He plays with great pace and he’s a complete player with solid habits.
“He has put up outstanding numbers.”

On signing in the Kingdom Justin said: “I’m really excited for this new opportunity in Fife.
“I can’t wait to discover the beautiful landscape of Scotland and get things started on the ice.”

Justin is the 18th member of 2025/26 squad and will wear #71.
