The Belfast Giants scored double digits against the Flyers for the first time in all EIHL competitions.
It was the 6th time the Flyers have conceded double digits in the EIHL era and all to different teams.
The 6 goals conceded in the second period equalled the most given up by the Flyers in any 20 minutes this season and also tied the most ever in the EIHL era for a period.
8 unanswered goals conceded equalled the second most during the Flyers EIHL era and was the second time this season that the Flyers have given up that number.
29 shots for Giants in the first period was the most given up by Flyers in 20 minutes this season.
65 total shots on Flyers goal was a season high given up and is the most since the Flyers gave up that same number against the Giants in November 2011.
The Flyers have scored two powerplay goals 7 times this season with 3 of those coming in games against the Giants.
The Flyers were ahead in the match for the longest period of time in their last 29 matches stretching back to December 28th.
Massimo Carozza had his four game scoring streak against the Giants snapped.
JJ Piccinich scored his second hat trick and the Giants third of the season against the Flyers.
The Giants have now scored 11 hat tricks in all EIHL competitions against the Flyers which is the most of any team.
Tyler Heidt became the 5th Flyers player to register more than 100 shots on the season.

The Giants completed a clean sweep against the Flyers in their league meetings this season. It is the third time in regular season play in the EIHL that the Flyers have failed to register a point against the Giants.
This win is the biggest for Giants in all EIHL competitions this season and the biggest defeat for Flyers
67 total shots on Flyers goal was a new season high given up is the second most shots conceded in the EIHL era by the Flyers.
Bobo Carpenter scored the Giants 4th hat trick of the season against the Flyers and the Giants now have the most with 12 hat tricks scored against the Flyers in all EIHL competitions.
9 straight goals by the Giants is the second most conceded by the Flyers during their EIHL era and was the most consecutive conceded on the season.

Fife Flyers 4 Sheffield Steelers 8 – Elite League
Congratulations to Brodie Kay who recorded his first point in senior hockey with an assist on the Flyers 4th goal.
Excluding shootouts the Flyers 4th goal was their 2300th in all EIHL competitions.
The Flyers have conceded power play goals in each of their last 7 games which ties their longest streak of the season.
