Cardiff Devils 6 Fife Flyers 0 – Elite League
The Devils remained perfect on the season against the Flyers with their 5th consecutive win.
The Flyers were shutout for the 8th time on the season and the 6th time on the road against the Devils in the EIHL.
The Devils have now recorded 11 shutouts against the Flyers in all EIHL competitions, equal second most with Sheffield Steelers behind the Belfast Giants.
The Flyers were mathematically eliminated from the play offs with this result. The Flyers have missed the playoffs four times now in 12 seasons.
Jonas Emmerdahl was credited with a season high 7 blocked shots in the game.
Kieran Craig had his 5 game point streak snapped – the season best still belongs to Lucas Chiodo with 6 games.
The Flyers were awarded their 3rd penalty shot of the season and are now 0 for 3. Lucas Chiodo is 0 for 2 in his Flyers career on penalty shots. Overall the Flyers are now 7 for 18 on penalty shots in all EIHL competitions.

Fife Flyers 1 Nottingham Panthers 4 – Elite League
The Panthers also remained perfect against the Flyers this season and have now won their last six straight against the Flyers going back to last season.
The Flyers gave up their 10th empty net goal of the campaign which is second most behind Clan’s 11.
The Flyers have now conceded a power play goal in each of their last five games – this ties their longest streak of the season.
The Flyers have now given up 103 goals at home in league play this season which is only the second time that the Flyers have conceded triple digits in the EIHL era and it’s the most since the 105 scored against them in the 2011/12 season.
Excluding shootouts the Flyers scored their 200th goal against the Panthers in all EIHL competitions.
