Sheffield Steelers 8 Fife Flyers 1 – Elite League
The Steelers stretched the Flyers winless streak at the Utilita Arena to 19 games – this is the longest losing streak on the road for the Flyers against any team in all EIHL competitions – the previous longest being 17 games at the Belfast Giants.
The 61 Steelers shots on goal equalled the most that the Flyers have conceded in a game this season and it was the most shots the Steelers have recorded against the Flyers in all EIHL competitions.
The Flyers were credited with 16 blocked shots in the game – their highest total this season.
Kieran Craig now has an active 3 game points streak.
Robert Dowd scored his 31st goal against the Flyers but also his 357th for Steelers to become their all-time leading scorer.
The Flyers powerplay is 44.44 percent against the Steelers – their best against all teams this season.

Manchester Storm 6 Fife Flyers 2 – Elite League
Evan MacKinnon debut became the 28th player to make his debut for the Flyers this season which is now 7 more than last season which was at that time a record for the highest number of debutants.
Congratulations to Evan MacKinnon for scoring his first point for the Flyers and his first in professional hockey.
The Flyers conceded their 6th shorthanded goal on the road this season and 8th overall which leads all teams.
The last time the Flyers conceded two shorthanded goals in a game was December 2023 on the road in Sheffield.
It was the third short handed goal that the Manchester Storm have scored against the Flyers this season and the 3rd career shortie scored by Loren Ulett against Fife. He joins two other players on that number with 4 being the most by a single player against the Flyers.
Kieran Craig extended his points streak to four games.
It was the first time in 13 games that the Flyers had a lead and scored the opening goal in a game since they last did against Guildford on January 5th.
It was the Flyers 400th road game in all EIHL competitions – their record stands at W 118 L 280 D 2 F 1030 A 1640
Flyers have now conceded 119 goals on the road which is the most of any EIHL season since their inaugural 2011/12 campaign.

Fife Flyers 3 Glasgow Clan 2 Shootout – Elite League
Flyers ended their 8 game losing streak against the Clan which equals their longest winless against that opponent in all EIHL competitions.
It also ended a streak of three home losses against the Clan which equals Clans best run at Fife Oice Arena.
The win also prevented the Clan from sweeping the Flyers in league play for the first time in the EIHL era.
For the first time in 17 games this season at home when behind after 2 periods the Flyers came back to win a game.
Flyers are now 33-30 in shootouts in all EIHL competitions and against the Clan the teams have 4 wins each.
The Flyers gave up their 9th short handed goal on the season. It was their 16th against the Clan in all EIHL competitions, second most only to Belfast who have 18.
