Dundee Stars 7 Fife Flyers 0 – Challenge Cup
It was the first time in 8 games that the Flyers lost a Challenge Cup game against the Stars in regulation time.
Flyers had 44 shots on Stars net which is their most shots in a game in the EIHL era that they have been shutout in – the previous most 39 was also against Dundee at Dundee Ice Arena in a 1-0 loss on 21st October 2012.
It ties the all-time record set previously in season 2004/05 when Flyers were shutout by the Guildford Flames.
In all EIHL competitions this was the 63rd time the Flyers have been shutout and the 8th time by Dundee with 6 of those being on Stars ice.
10 shots on goal for Phélix Martineau was a new team high for the season.
Ryan Foss was the 15th player to make his Flyers debut so far this season.

Fife Flyers 4 Guildford Flames 7 – Elite League
Congratulations to Michael Cichy for recording the first hattrick for the Flyers this season and the 37th all time in all EIHL competitions.
It was Flyers 20th home hattrick and the 2nd against Guildford in all EIHL competitions.
Phélix Martineau played a new team high 28:25 time on ice.
Daniel Krenželok had 11 shots on goal which was a new team high for the season.
The EIHL introduced individual shot totals in season 2019/20 and Daniel tied Zach Phillips with the Flyers highest in a single game recorded against Dundee Stars in December 2022.
It was the third short-handed goal conceded by the Flyers this season – 105th all time in all EIHL competitions.
The Guildford Flames have 6 shorties against the Flyers who have 1 against the Flames.
Janis Voris made his debut becoming the 16th new player to ice for the Flyers so far this season.
11 goals in the game ties the aggregate highest number in a game between the teams in the EIHL with the Flyers having won 6-5 at the Spectrum in October 2018
The loss is the Flyers 5th consecutive which ties a season high.
The last time the Flyers outshot teams in back to back games was November 2023 when they did so in four straight games.
