After leaving the home game versus Dundee Stars on 28th September due to injury, Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club can confirm that Johnny Curran has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament. After close consultation with specialists it has been confirmed that Johnny will require corrective surgery which unfortunately means that he will be sidelined for a significant period of time. Ryan Foss joins the team as an on-ice replacement for Johnny.
As we help Johnny through surgery and his recovery, we can confirm that he will remain with the club in an Assistant Coach position. His experience and knowledge of the Elite Ice Hockey League will be an invaluable asset to the team on the bench alongside Head Coach Tom Coolen.
