James Isaacs

Fife Flyers are delighted to confirm the re-signing of Canadian James Isaacs.

James originally joined the Flyers back in 2016 and has been a valued member of the team since the 2016/17 season.

This will be the 6’1, 200lbs, 28-year-old's third season with the club.

Originally from Victoria, BC, James has been playing in the EIHL since 2014, having played for both the Dundee Stars and Coventry Blaze before signing for the Flyers.

Isaacs can play both forward and defence making him a very versatile and valued team member.

James had the following to say on re-signing for the club “When Dutes and Hutch discussed me coming back, I was thrilled. Fife has become my second home and the fans my second family.”

“I think we have an amazing group of guys returning and all the additions are perfect pieces to the puzzle.”

“I’m really hoping we can build on last year’s success and hopefully bring home some more trophies!”

Assistant Coach Jeff Hutchins added “Todd and I are happy that we can continue to work with James next season. He has become a valuable player to the organisation over the last couple of years.”

“His ability to go seamlessly back and forth from forward to defence has been a huge asset.”

“He has an infectious personality and is a good teammate. He is willing to do whatever it takes for the benefit of the team, and players like this are a real asset both on and off the ice.”
