Fife Flyers vs Coventry Blaze game preview

Face-off - 7:15pm

This Saturday the Fife Flyers, sponsored by Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz, host Danny Stewart's Coventry Blaze at Fife Ice Arena as part of a 3 game weekend which sees Flyers travel to Belfast on Friday and Murrayfield on Sunday.

Over the last two seasons Flyers have dominated the head to head series against the Blaze, recording 6 wins from 7 games as the sides prepare to face each other for the final time this season.

Last weekend Flyers split the weekend with 1 win and 1 loss having gone head to head with their west coast rivals Braehead Clan.

This season Flyers lead the head to head series with the Blaze having notched up two wins to Coventry's one.

Coventry's season so far has been a case of two tales with some hugely impressive performances so far but they have failed to produce these performances consistently.

Last weekend the Blaze suffered two big defeats, losing 9-1 away to Manchester and then a 7-4 home loss to the Guildford Flames.

During that time, he has registered 179 points (84 goals, 95 assists) and amassed 1,329 penalty minutes. This season Paquette has totalled 132 penalty minutes in 28 games for the Blaze.
