PREVIEW | Fife Flyers vs Braehead Clan (15.10.2017)

Face-off 6:30pm

This weekend the Fife Flyers, sponsored by Arnold Clark Mercedes-Benz, face Gardiner Conference rivals the Braehead Clan in their second home and away double header of the year.

The Clan return to Fife Ice Arena on Sunday for the final time this season in league action, having hosted Flyers at Braehead on Saturday evening..

Going into this weekend Flyers will be looking to secure wins numbers 6 and 7 over John Tripp's side, having won all 5 competitive meetings between the two sides so far this season.

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume expects this weekend's head to head to be another classic "These could be the two matches of the season, we have performed fantastically against them all season as everyone knows.

"They have made some changes and they have found some form more recently.

"Instead of making individual predictions about these upcoming games, I will say if we play like we are capable and like we did against Nottingham Panthers then this weekend will have a positive outcome for us."

Going into this weekend's fixtures Flyers forward Evan Bloodoff leads the league in goals scored with 25 goals, tied with Coventry Blaze forward Marco Vallerand. Bloodoff goes into this weekend in fine form having scored 10 goals and 3 assists for the month of January.
