Great 8 2017
Fife Flyers Great 8 will officially launch this morning to which one of the partners will become main team sponsors for the 2017/18 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

Later this morning we will make our biggest commercial announcement of the year, when we will unveil the new Title Sponsors of Fife Flyers for the upcoming 2017/18 season.

The name will be drawn from one of our eight premier partners 'The Great 8', who will be the main sponsors of Great Britain's oldest ice hockey club, in what will be our 80th season in existence.

We are delighted to reveal that this season's Great 8 are:

Arnold Clark Mercedes Benz
F.F.D.R.
Fife Auto Centre
Molson Coors
Nationwide Gas Care
Society
Specsavers
FiFab (last year's Title Sponsors)

Jeff Hutchins, Flyers' Associate Coach, will be in attendance at the exclusive event held at The Bay Hotel, to draw the lucky sponsor's name from the hat.

He said: "It's an exciting day in the organisation's commercial calendar, the day we find out which business will have their name read out alongside Fife Flyers at our home games this coming season.

"This is a great event, it allows business leaders to get together and network as well as grow the Flyers presence in the business community.

"I am delighted to be a part of the day."

Commercial Manager Carol Johnstone added: "I'd like to thank all of the businesses who have formed this season's Great 8 and would like to wish them all luck in the draw to be Title Sponsors.

"This year's Great 8 is a fantastic line up of both local and national businesses and shows how popular Fife Flyers and ice hockey is becoming both in Fife and across Scotland."
