Following lengthy discussions with the EIHL, and many internal discussions, we can confirm that the Flyers will take part in the 2017/18 EIHL season.

The reasons for the delay and the lengthy talks centred around the proposed format for the forthcoming season, which was only decided in late April, as well as the financial consequences that competing at EIHL level will have on the team in the long term.

We have looked at various formats and approaches to create a business plan that is sustainable for the team in Fife.

Due to the increased costs that come with competing in this league we had to be confident that it would be sustainable for the season ahead and the foreseeable future.

We are currently looking at the season ticket options for the 2017/18 season, given the new league/conference/cup format and will announce the details and get these on sale as soon as possible.

As always, previous season ticket holders will have first refusal on their previous year’s seats, before they are released on general sale.

We are working on putting together a competitive team for the 2017/18 season and will make signing announcements over the coming weeks, ahead of the new season.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time and we look forward to welcoming you all back to Fife Ice Arena throughout the 2017/18 season.
