Fife Flyers end of season awards with the Bay Hotel

Fife Flyers can confirm that we will be holding our 2016/17 End of Season Awards Night on Wednesday 29th March, at the Bay Hotel. Please note that we have had to go with the Wednesday as we need to keep the Friday, Saturday and Sunday free in case we have a Play-Off Quarter Final Game. 

Tickets will go on sale on Saturday 4th March at 1200hrs from the Box Office & will also be on sale at home games in the Flyers Shop. Tickets are priced £15 for adults and £7 for kids (up to age 16), under 5’s go free. The ticket covers access to the Awards Ceremony & Quiz which will see 8 awards being presented on the night, as well as the official jersey presentations to the Home and Away Jersey Sponsors and Stick Presentations to the Stick Sponsors. We will also hand over the Warm Up Jerseys to the Sponsors, prior to the Stick Sponsor Presentations.

There will also be a Quiz on the night, with Flyers players joining each table, so swot up on your Flyers Facts & General Knowledge for your chance to Win on the night! The player’s names will be drawn out of a hat on the night, with at least 1 player being assigned to each table. The winners will be presented with a signed team photo each and £10 gift voucher each for the shop. There will also be a warm buffet served after the awards and quiz.

Season Ticket Holders, Corporate Pass Holders and Fife Flyers Official Travel Club Members will receive a 10% discount on their ticket. Please ensure you show your Season Ticket/Corporate Pass or Travel Club Membership when ordering your ticket (discount is applicable to the bearer's ticket only, not on multiple tickets).

Tickets will be available to buy from the Box Office (refer to website for opening hours) and also from the Official Fife Flyers Shop at the games on 4th, 18th and 25th March.

We would advise buying your tickets early as we do expect this event to sell out.

Tables seat 12, and we will be allocating names to tables prior to the event to ease congestion at the start of the event. Table lists will be displayed at the event. Doors open at 7.15pm, the Event will start at 7.45pm. You can request that you are sat with friends at the time of booking. 

There will also be a raffle on the night with some great prizes up for grabs including signed jerseys, goodie bags and lots more!  A photo booth will be set up post event so that you can get your picture taken on the night with your favourite players. Photos will cost £1 on the night.

The dress code for the event is smart.

The format for the evening will see 8 Awards being presented to the players, and we want you the fans to get involved in the voting! 

Home and Away Jersey Sponsors will also be presented with their game worn players jerseys after the official awards have been presented. Please note, if you are a consortium who have sponsored a players jersey (e.g. Section G, Fife Flyers Travel Club etc) please ensure you pick a winner or nominate 1 person, to accept the jersey on behalf of the consortium.

The Awards this season are as follows:

- Top Points Scorer (Determined by player stats at end of regular season)

- Players Player (Voted for by the players)

- Forward of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Defenceman of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Goal of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Brit of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Player of the Year (Voted for by the fans)

- Unsung Hero (Voted for by the fans)

You will be able to start voting for your winners on the website later today. Alternatively you can vote by collecting a voting slip from the Official Fife Flyers Shop or Travel Club Table. At the Awards Night, we will reveal the top three nominees for each category, before announcing your winners!

Elite Ice Hockey League

The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) is a professional ice hockey league in the United Kingdom formed in 2003. The league currently consists of 12 teams, with Braehead (SCO), Belfast (NIR), Cardiff (WAL), Coventry (ENG), Dundee (SCO), Edinburgh (SCO), Fife (SCO), Guildford (ENG), Manchester (ENG), Milton Keynes (ENG), Nottingham (ENG) and Sheffield (ENG).
